Communication

Apart from meetups we use a mailing list and a Discord-server for our online communication. The mailing list is usually only used for announcements, even though it is generally open for discussion. Ad-hoc communication as well as spontaneous remote get-togethers usually take place via Discord.

You can sign up for the feminist-linux mailing list, and if you like, send a quick hello-mail to the list.

We’ll send out invite-links to access the Discord server with announcements on the mailing list and share them in person at our meetups. The link can also be shared on an individual basis if you are interested, we just don’t want to post it publicly as we feel like we lack the moderation capacities for that.

On all our communications channels we want to hold ourselves to a common framework, that we tried to describe in the following two documents:

If you have a question and prefer something a little less committal for now, feel free to contact us by sending an e-mail to our mailbox
femlimup [at] diebin [dot] at. For anything regarding the code of conduct there is a separate mailbox, that is monitored by our Awareness-Team. You can find it along with more info in the article linked above.
